History & Appreciation of Antiques: Iroquois Beadwork Souvenirs

Morning Class: 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Afternoon Class: 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

The class studies Material Culture and its impact on Society through the history and appreciation of antiques. A hands-on examination of artifacts explores the sociological, economic, historical, and political impact on the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries and its implications for today and tomorrow. Please bring one antique to each class to “Show and Tell” for discussion.

Advanced Class, Teacher: Pat Pixley, Curator

Classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays with each day offering two options for class times:

Series of four classes: Members –  $32  / Non-Members -$64

Drop-In Fee: Members – $15
