History and Appreciation of Antiques: Milk Glass

Study material culture and its impact on society through the history and appreciation of antiques. The class features a hands-on examination of artifacts and explores the sociological, economic, historical, and political impact of these artifacts on the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries, as well as their implications for today and tomorrow. Please bring one antique to each class for “Show and Tell.”
Thursday classes take place from 9:30am – 12pm.
Cost: $8 per class for DCHS members (with RSVP); $10 per class for members (drop-in)
$15 per class for non-members
Space limited; RSVP with pre-payment required. Classes will be held with a minimum of 3 students and a maximum of 6 students.
