Come explore the General Crook House Museum!

You can visit the General Crook House seven days a week, no advance tickets or resevations needed! A guide pamphlet for self-guided tours is always available.

Docent-Guided Tour

We offer guided tours for schools, community groups, and individuals. Plan your visit with a 45-minute guided tour of the General Crook House, led by one of our trained volunteers.

Afternoon Tea

Elegant afternoon tea served in the beautiful Victorian Dining Room at the General Crook House. Tea is served on the dining room table with a proper silver tea service and fresh flowers. Afterwards, a tour of the House is led by a trained docent. Menu includes:

  • Fresh Scones
  • Traditional savory cucumber sandwiches
  • Fruit
  • Jams
  • Hot tea, with milk and sugar
  • A selection of sweet treats

(Minimum of 6 people, maximum of 20)

Lunch Tours

Enjoy a catered luncheon inside General George Crook’s historic 1879 home at Fort Omaha before setting off on a guided tour of the Crook House Museum. Each guest also receives a keepsake invitation welcoming them to General Crook’s historic home.

Cold Luncheon – Choose one for the group:

  • Smoked Turkey & Ham Sliders
  • Italian Cold Cut Sandwich
  • Chicken Fried Wrap

Served with house salad, fresh fruit kebab, and cookies.

Hot Luncheon – Choose one for the group:

  • Meatloaf with Gravy
  • Chicken Marsala
  • Grilled Chicken with Ravioli & Alfredo Sauce

Served with house salad, cookies, and your choice of garlic mashed potatoes, au gratin potatoes, or fresh vegetable.

One meal selection is made for the entire group. Dietary restrictions and sensitivities can be accommodated with advance notice whenever possible.

    Frontier Dinner

    Enjoy an evening of Victorian hospitality with The General’s Guest Dinner, featuring a catered dinner inside General George Crook’s historic 1879 home at Fort Omaha followed by a guided tour of the Crook House Museum. Each guest also receives a keepsake invitation welcoming them as an honored guest of the General.

    Dinner includes:

    • House Salad
    • 10 oz. New York Strip Steak or Chicken
    • Fresh Vegetable
    • Choice of Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Au Gratin Potatoes, or Baked Potato
    • Choice of Bread Pudding or New York Cheesecake

    Guests may individually choose between the New York Strip and Chicken. One potato and one dessert selection are made for the entire group. Dietary restrictions and sensitivities can be accommodated with advance notice whenever possible.

    (Minimum of 12 guests)

    $60/person + tax

    All tours must be booked at least two weeks in advance.
