Second Sunday Talks: Historic Dundee 1894-1954 with Jim McGee
Jim McGee holds a Master of Public Administration degree from UNO.
He was the Intelligent Transportation Systems Highway Program Manager at the Nebraska Department of Roads and was responsible for Congressionally Designated Funds and grants. He retired in 2013. He and his wife, Diane, have lived in their 100-year-old Dundee home for 45 years. He is the Dundee Memorial Park Neighborhood Association’s Dundee Historian.
Jim will take us through the history of Dundee, from the early beginnings, until the streetcar’s last trip through the neighborhood in 1954…with an update to the 2000’s! If you love historic neighborhoods, this is a must see!
