Ingredients:
1 cup of cassava flour (manioc/yuca)
½ cup cornstarch
1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella, feta, queso fresco)
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons butter at room temperature
1 large egg
2 tablespoons whole milk
oil for frying
Instructions:
Mix the first eight ingredients, and add the milk at the end. The dough should have a moist consistency.
Make into small balls, fry, and set on paper towels.
