Online Exhibits

DCHS preserves the past for use by present and future generations. We now have a series of online exhibits that patrons can explore from the comfort of their own home.

Using our collection of artifacts, items from the Archives Center, and materials loaned by individuals and institutions, we present a yearly exhibition on the basement level of the General Crook House Museum. For those who are unable to visit the museum, or for those who want to explore aspects of Douglas County history from the comfort of their homes, we have created a series of online exhibits. Some of our exhibits feature artifacts from Omaha area restaurants, the Ak-Sar-Ben float drawings of Gus Renze and our collection of cake toppers.
