FORT OMAHA AFTER DARK

When the sun goes down, Fort Omaha’s history takes on a whole different atmosphere.

What happens when documented history meets stories that can’t quite be explained?

Join the Douglas County Historical Society and Jamie Nestroyl of Midwest Paranormal History Tours for a fascinating 90-minute walking tour through historic Fort Omaha and along Officers Row.

For generations, people who have lived, worked, and spent time at Fort Omaha have shared accounts of unusual sounds, unexpected sightings, and experiences that left them searching for answers.

During this after-hours adventure, you’ll discover the documented history of Fort Omaha while hearing firsthand accounts of the unexplained, sometimes while standing in the very places where those experiences occurred.

But don’t mistake this for a ghost hunt!

Fort Omaha After Dark isn’t about investigating or attempting to communicate with spirits. It’s about exploring history from a different perspective, where real events, personal experiences, and lingering mysteries come together.

Some stories will fascinate you. Others may surprise you. And a few might just have you looking over your shoulder!

You decide what you believe.
