WHEN THE DOORS CLOSE, THE OTHER STORIES BEGIN.
By day, the Crook House Museum tells the story of an 1879 home and the people who once walked its halls.
But after dark?
There are other stories.
Stories of footsteps when no one else was there. Sounds coming from empty rooms. Fleeting glimpses that made someone turn around. Experiences shared by staff, volunteers, visitors, and others who have spent time within these walls and walked away with questions they still can’t answer.
On Thursday, October 22, you’ll have the chance to hear them.
CROOK HOUSE AFTER DARK returns.
Jamie Nestroyl of Midwest Paranormal History Tours will lead guests through the Crook House after hours, combining the documented history of the home with firsthand accounts of the strange, unsettling, and unexplained.
This is not a ghost hunt.
No investigating. No trying to summon anything. No promises of what you will or won’t experience.
Just an old house.
Nearly 150 years of history.
And stories from people who are quite certain something happened here.
Now imagine hearing those stories while standing in the very rooms where they occurred… on an October night, after the museum has closed and the house has gone quiet.
